This photo was taken using my brother's camera, which has image stabilization. Makes for clearer photos if you have a shaky hand. However, it looks as if the camera was focused on the background, so we are a little blurry, but since the scenery is so majestic, it doesn't matter how we look.

Another Group Photo at Machu Picchu
This photo was taken using my brother's camera, which has image stabilization. Makes for clearer photos if you have a shaky hand. However, it looks as if the camera was focused on the background, so we are a little blurry, but since the scenery is so majestic, it doesn't matter how we look.

I'm wanting to go to Peru next year. From what I gather from your blog, you or your travel companions seem to make your own travel arrangements. Do you have any reliable tour company you use? Or what websites do you use?

Thanks for reading my blog! We do book our own flights and hotels. We usually book directly with the hotel and airline on their web sites. We also check out hotels on Trip Advisor and Travelocity to check on other prices and reviews of hotels. The trip of Machu Picchu was arranged by our hotel. They were very helpful and did all the work of buying the tickets for us and providing transportation to the train.
