Awesome is back!

So I'm at Aaron Brother's on Friday getting a custom mat cut-out for a frame, and it took the employees some time to help me but I wasn't in a hurry. When they finished and I paid I and thanked them for helping me. Then the one woman said "Thanks for being such an awesome customer." That was a great complement, but it had been a long time (the 80s?) since I heard the word awesome used. Then that night while having dinner at Karl Strauss I was telling my sister about my earlier experience and she said that 'awesome' has become a popular word again. Just then the waiter came by and told us to have "an awesome night". I was so shocked at what he said that I asked if he had heard us talking about the word awesome (he hadn't), but it just proved that awesome is back!
