It was bad timing. The night before I left on my trip to Arizona, I got a bad soar throat. I ended up leaving work early the next day to go home and rest. As the weekend approached, my throat got worse and I developed a bad, dry cough. However, I never felt really sick and I didn't let my illness stop me from doing anything during my vacation. Hiking the steep way to the top of Camelback Mountain is one example. I survived this hike by drinking lots of water and sucking on cough drops. A week after I got sick I'm finally feeling better, but I'm taking it easy so I don't get a relapse.
