Sunday Morning Hike in the Hot Desert

We went for a morning hike in the desert behind the house. It was getting hot fast, at least 90 degrees. Very clear view of the valley.

    It looks hot. I'm surprised the snow didn't melt while you were hiking.

    It was hot and dry. I'm sure the snow was melting on the mountains in the background, but it was probably 50 degrees cooler up there.
