Looking at Buying a House

I looked at about eight houses today with a realtor. I still haven't decided if I want to sell my condo and buy a house yet, but after today I have a better idea of what's out there. It is a big decision for me to make, and hopefully I'll soon make up my mind. I still haven't giving up the idea of living downtown, but I really like the idea of having more space and an attached garage, perhaps even a 3 car garage. One house today I looked at had a strange/bad smell. That was a really bad selling point. Just like when I bought my current condo, I'll know when I find the perfect house. I'm not going to compromise. The house for me is out there somewhere.

The Grand Finale

It started off slow, but got better as the night went on.

KGB Skyshow XXXI

I think I went to my first KGB Skyshow in 1986, 20 years ago! I haven't been every year since, but almost. This year was kind of a disappointment, but still enjoyable.

Angel, Spike, Buffy, Dawn and Joyce Figures

Buffy Bot

They keep making them so I keep buying them. Of all the Buffy figures in this series, this is my favorite. I really like the episodes with Buffy Bot. I also got a Primeval Buffy and Vampire Buffy, but I'm not impressed with those figures.

Destiny Spike

These Spike and Angel figures are part of the Deluxe Series 2 set. There was a Battle-Damaged "Destiny" variant of Destiny Spike I didn't buy because it was the same figure with blood painted on.

Cheerleader Buffy

She doesn't look very cheery, does she?

Destiny Angel

I will soon be buying the 50's Angel and when it is available, School Hard Spike to complete this collection.

Hawaiian Shirt Angel and Spike

These two figures are Sense and Sensitivity Angel and Doomed Spike. I don't remember these episodes, but there must have been a reason they were wearing Hawaiian shirts.

Summers Family Album

I haven't decided if I'm going to open this box. I might remove the plastic wrap because it reflects too much light, which made photographing it difficult. This box set contains the only Joyce Summers figure ever made.

Condos in Little Italy

I finally made it down to Little Italy to look at some condos. A realtor in the area showed me around ten units in six different complexes, which included some in the Columbia, Cortez and Marina districts. I am most interested in Little Italy but was open to see what the other areas were like. Some of the condos were accessed by an inside hallway. They felt more confined, almost like a hotel, although some had a great view of San Diego bay. Other units had entrances from a courtyard. I "felt" better in those places, even if the view wasn't as good. I could see myself living down there, but it would take some getting used to. I still haven't decided if I want to sell my condo, and if I do, I will either move to a house or buy a condo downtown. I'm looking for a motivating reason to move at this point, and then I'll make my decision.

A Mascott Throwing a Ball

Great Seats for a Padre Game

courtesy of my company, I had two first row seats today for the Padre game. We had to be careful of foul balls and broken bats. Only one foul ball came close to us.

More Alligators Bites

Help me, Tony! Now the alligator is attacking Eileen and Tony is trying to save her. When I took this photo I had no idea that Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, was killed by a stingray. So lets say that this photo is in memory of Steve Irwin and the adventurous life he led.

Weekend in Mexico

Group Above the Beach

I spent the four day weekend at a resort south of Rosorito in Mexico. This is our first night there as we walk on the trail above the ocean. The path down to the beach is now blocked by a large pile of dirt, but it is easy to walk over. It looks like they are going to build houses there, but nothing in Mexico happens to quickly. It may be years before they actually start building, and then it might take years to finish.

See the Resemblance?

Another photo opportunity of me with an interesting statue.

The horror of it all!

Steve is horrified at the site of Woody being bit by an alligator.
